Noughat update hits LG K8

If you remember, last year, Verizon launched a variant of the LG K8 for its network, running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The device - dubbed LG K8 V - has now started receiving the Nougat update.

The update arrives as software version VS50020a, and includes version 7.0 of Google's mobile operating system. The device's software update page on the carrier's website (Source link below) contains details on the changes the new OS includes.

As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time for the update to hit your device.
